About

Survivor Canberra is an opportunity for people to live out their Survivor dreams. Compete in challenges, find advantages and vote each other out until one sole Survivor remains!

Location

The game takes place in a camping ground in the Australian Capital Territory, near Canberra.

Game length

The game lasts for 2 full days on a weekend, with players staying on site overnight. Both days usually have an early start and a late finish.

Episodes on YouTube

All aspects of the game are filmed by a film crew (all conversations, player confessionals, challenges, tribal councils, etc). The footage from the game is then used to create a full season which is released on the Survivor Canberra YouTube channel at a later date.

You can watch Survivor Canberra Seasons 1, 2 & 3 now!

Who can play?

The game is for people aged 18+. Players don’t have to be from Canberra, they can come from anywhere in the world!

Where do I sign up?

Casting for future seasons is currently closed.

Who runs Canberra Survivor?

Survivor Canberra is the passion project of two Survivor superfans, Dan and Liv. Based in Canberra, they are the hosts of the show and are passionate about giving more fans an opportunity to play the game.

The game doesn’t happen without the help of the broader production crew, however. The team behind Survivor Canberra includes the film crew, prop makers, challenge designers and testers, format designers, and many more.

Survivor Canberra is not affiliated with CBS, Survivor or Australian Survivor.

Challenges

Challenges are inspired by those seen in the real Survivor shows and will test the physical, mental and strategic capabilities of players.

Tribal Councils

Survivor fans will be familiar with the Tribal Council format, which mimics the real show. Tribal Council is an elimination ceremony where contestants are held accountable for their actions in the game, usually with one person being voted out of the game by their tribemates.

Prize
